Meatloaf has little fat
Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008
My family loves meatloaf, and this wild game meatloaf is the best, with little fat and such delicious flavor. I like my recipes to be a blueprint, which means it's a good basic recipe, but if you want to vary from the recipe, go ahead. Instead of spaghetti sauce, use chili sauce or salsa; vary the kinds of cheese; add garlic if you like. We love to have a meatloaf dinner in the winter with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. In the summer, I change out the sides for fresh sliced tomatoes and buttered new potatoes. My favorite part of the whole meatloaf process is the next day for delicious slightly warmed meatloaf sandwiches.
