The youngest of two boys, Will Barnett grew up in Napa Valley. His mother was born and raised in Japan. She opened the first Japanese restaurant in Napa in the early '80s. Barnett, 38, moved to Redding in 2000 with his wife Angela, a Redding native. They have three sons: Jacob, 9, Nicholas, 7, and Lucas, 4.

Angie Lidster is one of five daughters of Pat and Everett Lee. Her mom and two aunts run Lim's Cafe in Redding. Lidster enjoys cooking and spending time with her family, which includes her husband, Scott, and two sons: Alex, 12, and Conner, 10. For Lidster, the joy of cooking is in the result.
