Air quality remains "moderate"
Air quality in Shasta County remains at the “moderate” level, rating an 82 on the air quality index, a county resource management spokesman said.
Health officials expect air quality to remain variable through the weekend. They’re keeping in place their advisement, telling county residents with respiratory or heart disease, the elderly and children to avoid spending large amounts of time outdoors, the spokesman said.
